2022 has just ended! For many people in the industry, it was a return to normality in the post-pandemic world and an opportunity to bounce back from the bottom and financial problems. What events did we record in 2022? What happened and what should be remembered? Here is the Escape Buzz summary of the year!
2020 has changed a lot in people's lives. A lot has also changed in the escape room industry. During the two years of the pandemic, escape rooms in many countries were only open for a few months, which had a serious impact on their finances. Many escape room and other companies related to the industry did not survive, and those that managed to stay afloat did everything not to give up.
2022 was the light at the end of the tunnel for many. Despite inflation, crisis and war, the industry fought and still fights. Observing the market, we see that new companies are being created, existing ones are opening new rooms, new media are being created, new events are emerging, well-known events are returning. That is why we have prepared a summary and a graphic summarizing the most important events that took place last year!
